Every vendor earns a 0–100 score within its specialty. We publish the exact inputs and weights so the rankings can be audited and cited.

Signal sources

• News — coverage volume and recency from public news aggregation, per vendor and specialty.
• Reviews — aggregate ratings from public software-review sites (G2, Capterra, Software Advice), captured and attributed.
• Social — public discussion from technology and professional communities (Hacker News and Bluesky, plus LinkedIn where configured), condensed into a sentiment score by an AI model.

Alongside each vendor we surface representative real mentions pulled from the sources above — including critical and negative commentary about downtime, support, billing, and usability. Each mention links back to its source and is labeled by sentiment.

Update cadence

Rankings regenerate automatically on the 1st of each month. The current run is June 2026. Per-specialty and historical data is available as JSON at /data/latest.json and as an RSS feed.
